Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Public Notice MH/PF/RO/BANDRA/PRO/ dated 10.10.2018 issued by Employees Provident Fund Organization (Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India) regional office Mumbai, Bandra. The copy of the attachment is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
Vide the said public notice, the attention of EPFO pensioners, subscribers and members are drawn that a fraud person is asking for details of Income-tax, PAN card, Aadhar card & ATM Card Number from the EPFO pensioners, subscribers and members for processing of withdrawal of PF/ Updation of KYC status in their Universal Account Number. On verification of the cell number from which these information’s were sought was found a fraud number and EPFO, Bandra Office has already lodged a complaint at Cyber Police Station BKC, Mumbai.
Therefore, all the EPFO pensioners, subscribers and members kindly note that, EPFO is not demanding any of the above documents/information over telephone or via email for withdrawal of PF/ Updation of KYC status in their Universal Account Number and hence all the EPFO pensioners, subscribers and members are hereby requested to be vigilant and not to reveal any financial information and identity record on any such calls.
All the colleague industries are hereby requested to create awareness regarding the same among their employees.
