Dear all,
Your Association SIMA is forwarding Order No.ADM/LAW/139/1999/1341 dated 14/07/2025, issued by the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Office of the Collector/ District Secretariat Silvassa.
As per the Order, it has been brought to the attention of the undersigned that an assessment of the structure stability of two canal bridges between Ch. 6/2 to 6/4 and Ch. 7/8 to 8/0 on Silli Fatak to Gujarat Border Road has been carried out by the Public Works Department, DN11:
NOW, THEREFORE, in view of the above and in the exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, 1, Amit Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, hereby permanently close for any type of movement for both the above-mentioned bridges with immediate effect.Any type of movement shall be routed through Silvassa to Amli Ring Road to Dokmardi Ring Road Athola -Kilvani-Silli-and vice versa.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and any person found in contravention of this order shall be punishable under Section 223 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
The Traffic Department, DNH, shall ensure the implementation of this order and necessary action may be taken for diversion.
