Prime Minister Shram Award Scheme

Your association is in receipt of a letter from Labour Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa vide No. LEO/PMSA-2018/483/2018 dated 23.04.2018. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith for your reference.
Vide the above letter; Labour Department has forwarded a D.O. No. N-12011/01/2018-ISH-I dated 12.03.2018 issued by Additional Secretary, Govt of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment, New Delhi regarding Prime Minister’s Shram Awards’ Scheme – 2018. The scanned copy is also enclosed herewith.
As you are aware that Ministry of Labour & Employment has been implementing the Prime Minister’s Shram Award Scheme under which, awards are given to the workers in recognition of their outstanding contribution towards production and for showing exemplary zeal and enthusiasm in discharge of their duties. The awards are Shram Ratna, Shram Bhushan, Shram Vir/Veerangana, Shram Shree/Devi with cash prize category wise.
In this regards, it is requested to all the colleague industries to nominate their workers for the above awards as per attached criteria and forms. The nominations should be sent to the Labour Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli at least 10 days before the last date of receipt of nominations i.e. 31/08/2018 , so that the nominations could be forwarded to the Ministry on time.
A copy of the nomination may be sent to your association SIMA for official record.
