Meeting of Industries Association of DNH on Non-Renewal of Consents under Water and Air Acts
Dear all,
The Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, DD & DNH has informed that, Honl. Chairman PCC has convened a meeting of all the association on 12th January 2016 at 4:30 PM at Conference Hall, Secretariat, Silvassa. The scanned copy of the said letter is enclosed herewith.
It is informed that, many industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli have not renewed their Consents under Water Act and Air Act, thereby violating the Environmental Acts/Rules. This is very serious issue and which may lead to legal action by PCC against such defaulted industries.
We are hereby request you to attend the meeting to have discussion on the issues of Non-Renewal of Consents. All the colleagues industries are hereby requested to timely renew the Consents under Water Act and Air Act to avoid the serious legal action.
