Pravasi Bhartiya Divas
Dear Sir,
Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs is going to organize, the 13th edition of the "Pravasi Bhartiya Divas" (PBD) Convention at Gandhinagar, Gujarat from 7-9th January, 2015. Gujarat is the State partner for the event.
After "Pre-PBD events" on 7th January, Hon'ble Prime Minister will formally inaugurate the Convention on 8th January 2015. The valedictory address will be delivered by Hon'ble President of India on 9th January 2015. Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards will also announced on the same day.
The circular received from GM, DIC bearing no. DIC/5(253)/2014/1243 dtd 03/10/2014 along with the letterreceived from Shri Prem Narain, Hon'ble Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs bearing no OI-11014/35/2014-DS dtd 08/10/2014 are enclosed herewith.
As many eminent PIOs/NRIs and other important guests from India and abroad are likely to take part in Convention, and their would be also Trade and Industry Exhibition by various State Government, NGOs and others. It will be a very informative and important even.
So it is hereby requested to fellow industries to participate in the said Convention.
