Payment of Labour Cess to be paid to DNH Building and other construction workers welfare Board.
Dear all,
Your Association is forwarding herewith an order issued with the approval of Hon'ble Secretary (Urban Development) vide Order No.UD/DNH/Labour Cess/2017/142, dtd 22.06.2017.The scanned copy of the order is attached herewith for your ready reference.
Vide the said order, Hon’ble Secretary (Urban Development) ordered as under:
1. The SMC and DNHPDA shall not issue Occupancy Certificate unless Building Contractors, Establishments, Employers pay the Labour Cess and evidence to this effect is furnished. A suitable condition shall be imposed in the construction permission itself that, no Occupancy Certificate shall be granted unless the Labour Cess is paid to DNH Building and other construction workers’ welfare Board.
2. The SMC & DNHPDA shall put a condition in the Construction Permission that, the builder/contractor shall ensure the registration of all the labours working at the construction site with the welfare board..
3. The undertaking as per Section 12 on Rs.100 Stamp paper submit by owner/ developers of the land.
