Your Association SIMA is forwarding herewith the Press Note issued by DNHPDA, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa regarding construction of the new vegetable market at Amli. We are pleased to inform you that, the Stone laying ceremony of the proposed vegetable market was held on 03.12.2018. SMC President Shri Rakesh Singh Chauhan, Shri Mohit Mishra, Chief Officer, SMC, Shri Ajay Desai, Vice-president, SMC and Other staff members of SMC performed the stone laying ceremony and it was assured that the construction of the market shall be completed within 18 months. In this regards, a paper cutting is also forwarded herewith which was published on 04/12/2018 in the local newspaper.
SIMA is also forwarding herewith the cutting of news appeared in local Newspaper Asli Azadi dated 4th December 2018 regarding various orders issued by Hon’ble District Magistrate/ Collector, Dadra & Nagar Haveli which are as follows;
1. Ban on selling Cigarette, Biddi and Guthka, within 100 meters from Schools, Colleges and institutions.
2. Section 144 at Silvassa-Naroli Char Rasta, Zanda Chowk and Kilvani Naka up to 100 meters.
3. Section 144 at Secretariat, Silvassa and Collectorate, Silvassa up to 100 meters.
Further, SIMA is forwarding herewith the cutting of newspaper Dainik Bhaskar. Considering the increase in industrial activities between Surat and Mumbai, the proposal of running local train between Surat and Mumbai is moved. The Railway Authority has informed that “a meeting will be organized by the Railway Committee for the discussion and finalization of the proposal.
