Letter issued by the Joint Director of Ministry of MSME Government of India.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA received a letter issued by the Joint Director of Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Government of India.
The MSMEs have to spend a lot of time and energy to comply with the requirements of various rules and regulations. MSEs generally restrict their employment, capital employed, turnover etc. below the threshold to avoid compliance burden, which artificially restricts the firms to grow. The compliances generally can be categorised as:
1. Before the start of MSEs - like CTE, CTO, CLU, DTP, getting registrations like UR, GST EPF Fire, ESIC, MCA, bank loans, electricity connection, etc.
2. During the functioning of business: GST returns, ITRs, MCA, SEBI requirements in case of listed firms, returns for EPF etc.
3. Sector-specific compliances FSSAI, GMP, Pollution Control Board, DGFT, Export related, Boiler inspector, etc.
In this regard, the Ministry of MSME has formed a working group to recommend the framework for reducing the compliance burden for the MSE sector.
In this regard, it is requested to provide your inputs/ suggestions for policy-level interventions for ease of doing business to MSME.
It is requested to send the suggestions within 01 weeks by email ( simasilvassa@gmail.com)
Thanking you,
With regards,
For Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association
Narendra Trivedi
General Secretary
