Discussion Paper on GST Regime
Dear colleague industries,
This is to inform your that, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Publication Department New Delhi, has published a Discussion Paper on probable key Transitional Issues in Proposed GST Regime.
As there is lot of confusion prevailing amongst the fellow members about the GST Regime and its implementation, your association Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association (SIMA) felt that, this discussion paper shall be very useful to the industries of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli to understand how the various issues, shall be dealt in the proposed GST Regime.
Transitional provisions are required to ensure that, the existing registered assessee are automatically or conveniently registered under the GST laws with minimum hassles. Further, this will enable the Government to have a wider reach without reach without seeking information already with the respective Authorities.
Considering the above issues and to clarify the apprehension of the colleague industries, we are sending herewith the scanned copy of the paper for your kind information.
