Your association SIMA is in receipt of a letter from CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
As per the letter, it is to inform you that the 7th Economic Census fieldwork has started from 3rd September, 2019 in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. In the 7th Economic Census, all establishments & household are listed, where any kind of economic activities will also be listed. The door to door survey is being carried out by the Enumerators & Supervisors hired and trained by CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV). The data will be submitted to Ministry of Planning and Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
Information Collected through the Economic Census will help in generating actual economic status of the enterprises in the District. The information collected will help in generating insights into creating intensive employment opportunities. It is assured that the information provided by you will be kept completely confidential.
In this regard the Director (industries), Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa has also send a letter to your association with a request to cooperate and support to the enumerators and supervisors, so they can collect accurate data. This data will contain information like nature of activity, no of persons employed, registration details, annual turnover, etc
