Order issued by Honl. District Magistrate, Daman regarding Avian influenza or Bird flu cases.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Order issued by Hon’ble District Magistrate, Daman (UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu) on dated 08.01.2021.
Vide the order, Administration informed about the outbreak of Avian influenza or Bird flu cases which are reported in the newspaper and other media reports across 12 epicenters in at least 4 states viz. Kottayam and Alappuzha in Kerala (mostly poultry), Baran, Kota, Jhalawar regions in Rajasthan (Crows), Mandusaur, lndore, Malwa areas in Madhya Pradesh (Crows).
In view of above, Hon’ble District Magistrate, Daman directed the following:
1. The entry of all poultry and non-poultry, birds from the States of Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, & Rajasthan shall be banned;
2. The entry of day old chicks, pullets as well as all ornamental / exotic birds from all State and U.Ts shall be banned.
