Order issued by Director (Education), DNH and DD in respect of school fees during the lockdown.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Order issued on 10/07/2020 by Director (Education), Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in respect of school fees during the lockdown.
As you all are aware that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the operation of all schools, colleges and institutions has been suspended as per Orders issued by MHA and UT Administration.
A meeting was held with Private school Principals, HeadMasters, Management Committee Members with Secretary (Education), DNH & DD. It is brought to the notice that most of the schools are providing online classes.
Since classes are conducted using online means by various schools, they can charge, tuition and other online classes related fees, however, it is directed that no other fees like laboratory fee, sports fees, music fee, transportation fee, extracurricular fee, etc. or any other fee which is being linked to their presence in school will be charged by the schools till regular school is started.
