Dear All,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Order No.SMC/CO/SBM/2018/60/2358 issued on 24/08/2018 by Silvassa Municipal Council, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The copy of the order is enclosed herewith for your reference.
Vide the order, Chief Officer, Silvassa Municipal Council in compliance of resolution of the council dated 06-06-2018 hereby directed as follows:-
1. With immediate effect, the use, sale and storage of all kinds of water pouches shall be forbidden in Silvassa Municipal Council Area.
2. It is repeated that no person shall be indulged in production, distribution, storage, sale and use of banned items.
3. It is informed to all concerned that such sale, storage and distribution is punishable under DNH Silvassa Municipal Council Solid Waste(Handling & Managment)Bye-Laws,2018 and DNH Municipal Council Regulation 2004.
All the colleague industries and the general public are hereby requested to compliance the order. Your association SIMA also appeals to all industrial colleagues to move forward the plastic-free environment and ensure that not indulge in production, storage and distribution of all the banned items.
