Notification regarding revise the rate of tax of compressed natural Gas CNG and PNG.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notification No. DC(VAT)/ VAT(Amendment)Reg/2017/82 dated 23/02/2024 issued by the Office of the Secretary (Revenue), Secretariat, Daman, U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Vide the Notification, In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Value Added Tax Regulation, 2005 (as amended vide Regulation No. 3 of 2020), the Administrator, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu revise the rate of tax in respect of following item which was covered under Fourth Schedule.
Name of Item: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)and Piped Natural Gas (PNG)
Existing Tax: 20%
Revised Rates of tax: 6%
