Dear all,

As you all aware that from 1st July 2017 the Direct Tax structure across the country is going to be replaced by Goods and Service Tax and uniform Tax structure shall be implemented in entire country to have uniformity of Taxes in all States and UTs. As we know that such Tax structure are implemented in other countries also where the system of taxation is running smoothly and transparently.

In India, the introduction and implementation of GST regime is under consideration since long. The deliberate discussion on the issues were  held at various platforms and after consultation with the people from Trade and Industries, Govt. of India has concluded the idea, procedures and methods of implementation of GST. As this is a very new subject for the people, traders, industries and even for government officers, it is felt that to train the every section of the society is a challenging task and before implementation it is very necessary that, all the questions and queries in the mind of the people are addressed properly for smooth implementation.

So, considering the various queries and questions which were escalated during training and interactive sessions of GST are compiled and published in form of a book on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Goods and Service Tax.
