Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No. ADM/DM/CYCLONE/341/2017/2208 dated 02/11/2019 issued by U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Disaster Management Cell Collectorate-Silvassa.
As per the Circular a preparedness meeting in wake of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MAHA” in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli was convened on 02/11/2019, 4:30 PM at Collectorate, DNH under the Chairmanship of Sandeep Kumar Singh, IAS Collector/Chairperson, Dadra Nagar Haveli District Disaster Management Authority (DNHDDMA). Resident Deputy Collector (Khanvel) and officers of the Emergency Support Function (ESF’s) departments namely Silvassa Municipal Council, District Panchayat, Police, Public Works Department- Road and Irrigation Planning and Development and Disaster Management were present for the meeting.
Collector & Chairperson, Dadra Nagar Haveli District Disaster Management Authority (DNHDDMA) has advised public to follow the official information from weather department, administration and to call the control Room Number: 0260-2630304/1077(Collectorate, Control Room) for any emergency information related to the forecast severe cyclonic storm “MAHA”.
