Traffic Restriction order DNH.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith Order No. ADM/LAW/139/1999/218, dated 24/01/2024, issued by the Collectorate, First floor, District Secretariate, Silvassa, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
As per the order, WHEREAS, in the evening time, trucks and goods carriers, in large numbers, move out from nearby industries and start from 1) From Rakholi T. Point to Samarvarni Junction and 2) From Lions School to Samarvarni Junction and Shahid Chawk and move towards the Athal Bridge to go to Gujarat and Maharashtra State.
AND WHEREAS, a report has been received vide letter no. DNH&DD/ Police/14/SP(T&I)/2024 Dated 17/01/2024, from the Superintendent of Police (Traffic), DNH, regarding easing traffic congestion in the city wherein it is suggested to impose ban/restriction on movement of trucks and goods carriers on the above-mentioned road stretches from 05:00 PM to 09:00 PM.
