Strict Compliance of Environmental Legislation
Dear all,
Your association is in receipt of letter from Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa regarding strict compliance of environment legislation. The copy of the letter is forwarded herewith for your ready reference.
It is observed that, power of many industries of the territory are disconnected on account of alleged non-compliance of environmental legislation. Recent moves of the Administration indicate that now we should go a step further forward to comply the provisions very minutely in respect of these laws to save Mother Earth, Water & Air. Federation, industries associations and industries of this UT feel, it is their basic duty to protect the environment.
In this regards, Federation has appealed all the colleague industries to take the matter seriously. It is awakening call. Message is loud and clear. Please check conditions attached to the consent to operate critically and comply them in letter and spirit.
In case of any condition which is impractical or not possible to comply immediately, please contact to your association to enable your Association to take collective step to get such conditions properly addressed.
Your association SIMA also emphasized to have a healthy environment and to protect the environment by complying the environment legislation.
In this regards, SIMA appeals all the colleague industries for strict compliance the norms, conditions mentioned in the Consent issued by PCC.
