Payment of Property Tax to the Panchayat under protest
Dear all,
It has been brought to the notice of your association SIMA that, various Panchayat have exorbitantly raised the Property Tax and have also issued the notices to the industries located in their respective Panchayat area.
This abnormal hike in Property Tax has been discussed with the other associations and it is decided that Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa shall take up the matter with the concern authorities and for that appointed is also seek with the appropriate authorities by the FIA.
In mean time, to avoid any penalty, concern industries may pay the property tax as per the demand raised by Panchayat under protest along with the letter. The draft of letter is attached herewith for your kind reference.
