Notification - Industrial Promotion Scheme
Dear Industrial Colleagues,
As we all know that, your association SIMA, represented to Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli; to attract new investment and to induce the existing industries to go for expansion, a conducive atmosphere should be provided and various new schemes should be offered to the new and existing industries particularly MSMEs and Textile sectors, an Investment Promotion Scheme should be launched to accelerate the industrialization of our UTs.
After series of meetings and discussions, finally UT Administration of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, under the guidance of Hon'ble Administrator, Hon'ble Development Commissioner and Senior Bureaucrats, the entire Administration of DD and DNH took pain and worked out the promotion scheme and the said scheme was launched recently as Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)- UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
On launching of the Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)- UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association thanked Shri Ashish Kundraji, IAS, Hon'ble Administrator, DD & DNH, Shri Sandeep Kumarji, IAS, Hon'ble Development Commissioner, all Senior Bureaucrats, officers and entire staff of Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
To give the legal force, to the said Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)- UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the Administration of DD and DNH has notified the said scheme under Notification No. DIC/IP-DDDNH-SCHEMES/2015/224, Dated: 03/07/2015.
On the notification, the Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)- UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Havelihas legally enforced in UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli w.e.f. 03.07.2015. The industries colleague are hereby requested to go through the said Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)- UTs of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, (the scanned copy of the notification is attached herewith) and take the benefit of the various schemes as announced in the said notification. The existing industries can also take the benefit of the schemes for expansion of their unit. From association SIMA, we once again convey our thanks to Administration of DNH that Administration has taken the initiative by introduction of the scheme, that will ensure sustain industrial growth. The primary mission of the Industrial Policy includes proactive support for development of MSMEs, Textile Sector, increase local entrepreneurships including Employment of youth, value addition on local primary sources and increasing the share of Manufacturing in GDP. The policy envisages grant of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to the Industrial units with a view to help the units achieve higher growth and employment generation through greater Investment in industrial sector. In the light of the Industrial Policy -2015, UT Administration of DD and DNH has introduced " Investment Promotion Scheme, 2015 (IPS-2015)" for MEMEs, Textile & Skill Development Institute to strengthen and make them globally competitive containing details of eligibility criteria, quantum of incentives and monitoring mechanism for administering the incentives.
