Your association receives an Advisory from Dadra & Nagar Haveli Disaster Management Authority dated 13/07/2022 regarding heavy to very heavy rain in most places of Dadra & Nagar Haveli over the next 48 hours.
Dadra & Nagar Haveli Disaster Management Authority has referred to the press release of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Center, Ahmedabad regarding the forecasting of heavy to very heavy rain in most places of Dadra & Nagar Haveli over the next 48 hours.
The District Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is prepared for any impending situation. The District Emergency Operation Center (DEOC)/ Flood Control Room (FCR) at Collectorate, DNH, Silvassa is operating 24x7 hours, monitoring daily rainfall, and the release of water from Madhuban Dam, keeping track of warnings and alerts issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The public may contact the Control Room number 1077, 0260-2412500, 87800 01077 for any updates, information, grievances or complaints regarding heavy rain, water logging and any other severe flood-like incident.
In view of the weather forecast issued by IMD, citizens are advised to remain alert and stay indoors, refrain from going near the river area, be safe and follow the warning and alerts issued by the department from time to time.
