Your association SIMA is in receipt of an E-mail dated 06/04/2022, from Ernst & Young LLP regarding the GMB Cargo Flow Study - Inputs opinions required from industries.
Gujarat Maritime Board, the regulatory authority for port development in Gujarat is undertaking a cargo flow study for Gujarat Port Sector and has engaged Ernst & Young LLP to carry out the study. The objective of the study is to plan for the future development of the port sector of the state to enable it to support future traffic growth in the country.
In order to meet the project objective, Ernst & Young LLP is adopting a holistic approach and carrying out consultations with all the key stakeholders across the state of Gujarat and the Union Territories to understand various bottlenecks faced by them. In this regard, they have shared a Questionnaire indicating all key inputs necessary from the industries end along with suggestions for improvements in the port sector.
