Expression of gratitude towards great initiative in the Skill India Mission

Your association is pleased to inform you that, under the able leadership of Hon’ble Administrator, Daman Diu & Dadra Nagar Haveli Shri Prafulbhai Patelji, Administration has initiated to start “Textile Engineering” course in Dadra & Nagar Haveli at Dr. B.B.A Polytechnic College, Karad, Silvassa. As you all know that, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has emerged as a textile hub in India and we are having numbers of textile industries in this territory. Since long to get skilled manpower, the need of faculty of Textile Engineering in Polytechnic College, Karad was highlighted , but somehow our said demand was not materialized.
The said proposal for Textile Engineering faculty at Polytechnic College, Karad was again raised by the Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa before the Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Our Hon’ble Administrator Shri Prafulbhai Patelji took the initiative and forwarded the proposal to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. With constant follow up by Hon’ble Administrator with Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Prakash Javadekarji, the proposal of introducing Textile Engineering course in Polytechnic College, Karad has been approved and the said faculty shall start from this academic year.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabha Modiji also gave guidance and direction to the Ministry of Human Resource Development and gifted our territory with this Textile Engineering faculty. Due to introduction of this new faculty, new avenue shall be opened and job opportunities for the youth of this territory shall be created. At the same time the textile sector of Dadra & Nagar Haveli shall also get the skilled manpower for their industries.
Representatives of Federation of Industries Association met Hon’ble Administrator on 18th May 2017 at Secretariat to express their sincere thanks and gratitude for his remarkable initiative in the matter.
The Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa expressed its hearties thanks to our beloved Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji and Shri Prakash Javadekarji , Hon’ble Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt of India for their immediate action in the interest of the youth and industries of this area. The copy of the letter received from FIA in this regard is attached herewith for your reference.
We truly believe that under the able leadership of our Hon'ble Administrator, this territory will witness tremendous growth in every sector.
