Adequate protection shall be provided by the Administration on 2nd Sept. Strike Day
Dear Industrial Colleagues,
As you know that, some Central Trade Unions have given a call for National Strike on 2nd Sept. 2015 in protest of the Labour Reforms carried by the Central Govt.
In this connection, to maintain law and order situation in our UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the joint delegation of all the three industrial Associations met Hon'ble District Magistrate on 31st August 2015. And submitted a joint representation to Hon'ble District Magistrate. The scanned copy of the said representation is attached herewith. The copies of the representation has been also forwarded to Hon'ble Inspector General of Police, DNH, Silvassa and his subordinate officials.
During the discussion Hon'ble District Magistrate assured that, adequate protection shall be provided to the loyal workers and it shall be assured that, industrial peace, law and order of UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is maintained. In no circumstances any illegal and antisocial activities shall be allowed. It has been ensured that, industries of UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli can operate their units peacefully without any disturbance.
So, all the colleague industries are requested to operate their units fearlessly and if any antisocial element try to prevent loyal workers or obstruct the free movement of man and material and if such elements attempt to disturb the normal working of the unit, then please report it to the nearest Police Station to provide protection to such loyal workers.
