Objections/Suggestions filed by SIMA in respect of proposed 100 mtr Eco-Sensitive Zone
Dear All,
Your association SIMA, has filed objections / suggestions, representation in respect to the Draft Notification No. S.O. 2927 (E) Dated 17/11/2014. In the said Draft Notification, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has proposed 100 mtrs Eco-Sensitive Zone, around Wild Life Sanctuaries in Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
Vide the said Notification, the Ministry has prohibited certain activities in the said proposed Eco-Sensitive Zone, and also identified certain activities, which shall be permitted in the said proposed Eco- Sensitive Zone with certain regulatory measures.
Your association SIMA in consultation with other fellow colleague industries and keeping in mind, the hardship which shall caused to the industries; if the said draft notification is implemented, has filed objections / suggestions vide letter dtd 12.01.2015.
