Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notification No. S.O. 71 (E) issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, New Delhi, dated 3rd January 2020.
In view of the recent amendment with the Employees Compensation Act, by increasing upper wages limit from existing Rs. 8000.00 pm to Rs. 15000.00 pm. So, it requires necessary changes with our existing E C Policies of Company and Contract workers.
Please note that in case of permanent partial disability previously compensation was payable over the wages, actual or Rs. 8000 pm, whichever is less whereas after the attached notification w.e.f. 03.01.2020 compensation is payable on actual or Rs. 15000 pm, whichever is less.
