Booklet on GST MSME Sector issued by Ministry of Finance, Govt of India
Dear all,
As you are aware that, Government of India celebrated 1st July as GST Day (2nd Anniversary) across the country and in this occasion Ministry of Finance, Government of India published a Booklet on GST MSME Sector. The copy of the booklet is attached herewith for your ready reference.
The MSME sector contributes significantly to the national economy and is the largest employment provider besides being a breeding ground for entrepreneurship and skill development. The number of MSME is more than 30 million employing around 100 million people.
To have a brief knowledge on GST, Ministry has issued this booklet for the MSMEs. In this occasion Central GST & Central Excise Commissionerate, Daman also celebrated GST Day on 1st July 2019. Hon’ble Commissioner Ms. Reshma Lekhani told to the media that, Tax Payers of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli have been paid total 1100 Crore last year.
