Dear all,
Your Association SIMA is forwarding Order No.. ADM/LAW/139/1999/2101dated 24/10/2025, issued by the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Office of the Collector/ District Secretariat Silvassa.
As per the Order, a large number of people of Dadra & Nagar Haveli District are going to assemble at the Damanganga Riverfront near Ras Resort Hotel, Silvassa & Check Dam, Nakshatra Van for Chhath Puja celebration from 27/10/2025 to 28/10/2025;
Amit Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Silvassa), Dadra & Nagar Haveli, hereby impose a temporary ban/ restriction on the movement of trucks, goods vehicles and heavy vehicles on the following roads on 27/10/2025 from 04:00 PM to 09:00 PM and on 28/10/2025 from 04:00 AM to 09:00 AM.
1. From Saheed Chowk - Yatri Niwas towards Athal Bridge and vice versa.
2. Ring Road: Piparia - Yatri Niwas towards Athal Bridge and vice versa.
3. Ring Road: Samarvarni Ayyappa Mandir Yatri Niwas towards Athal Bridge and vice-versa.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for two days, i.e. from 27/10/2025 to 28/10/2025.
Any person found in contravention of this order shall be punishable.
