Dear all,
Your association SIMA received a letter issue by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Government of India, dated 23.05.2023.
As you are aware that, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, implemented the MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme for MSMEs with an objective to enhance their productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness by reduction of wastages in processes, inventory management, space management, energy consumption, etc.For details of MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme, please visit the website: https://lean.msme.gov.in/.
Vide the letter it is informed that, there is a provision in the scheme for identifying and partnering with OEMs and Industrial Associations for the followings:
- Disseminating information amongst their MSME members and assist the Ministry in creating awareness and outreach of the Lean Scheme.
- Motivating MSMEs to apply for Lean Scheme.
- Ensuring the MSMEs to join the Lean Scheme and complete the journey.
We are pleased to inform you that, an additional 5% Gol contribution shall be given to the MSMEs registering through Industry Association/ OEM after completion of all levels.
Therefore, all the MSMEs colleagues are requested to apply for the Lean Scheme and take the benefit of the initiative of Govt of India.
