Draw up a water conservation plan
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of Letter No. DIC/5(387)/WCP/2016/866 dtd 28.06.2016 from General Manager, District Industries Centre. The scanned copy of the said is attached herewith.
Hon'ble Prime Minister has impressed upon all the State Govt. and U.T. Administration, about the need to draw a water conservation plan to ensure conservation of these precious resources. Accordingly Shri Vikram Dev Dutt Hon'ble Administrator, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli has taken up the issue and has directed to all offices of the administration, local bodies and private sector to draw up a comprehensive action plan for rejuvenation of ponds, other water bodies, construction of check dams and weirs, water shed management and rain water harvesting resources.
As we all know that water is very precious and it is an urgent need of the present time that, every drop of water is conserved and the resources of water are rejuvenated. In our Industries and houses also, we can provide the water harvesting system to rejuvenate ground water.
So all the colleague Industries member are requested to shoulder their responsibilities towards society and share their contribution in preserving each and every drop of water.
