Notification on Minimum wages for the period 01.10.2017 to 31.03.2018 issued by Labour Dept. DNH
Dear all,
This is to inform you that, Deputy Secretary (Labour), Labour Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has issued a Notification No. LEO/MWA/SA/1445/2017, dtd: 01/12/2017. The scanned copy of the said notification is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
Vide this notification, Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu has considered the earlier rates of special allowance declared vide Notification No. LEO/MWA/SA/533/2017, dtd: 23.05.2017 and order to continue the same for further period of 6 months i.e. 01/10/2017 to 31/03/2018.
The minimum rates of wages payable for the above period to the skilled, semi skilled and unskilled employees employed in the schedule employments in whole of Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli are Rs. 303.50, Rs.295.50 and Rs. 287.50 respectively.
Note:-
- For monthly wages Multiply with 26 days.
- The effective date of this order is 01/10/2017.
- If the wages already paid are higher, the same should be continued.
So, all the colleague industries are hereby requested to pay the minimum wages as prescribed and notified in the said notification.
