Notification issued by the Department of Transport, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notification No. ADTr./DMN/179/2020-21/363 issued by the Department of Transport, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu dated 31/12/2020.
Vide the Notification, Hon’ble Administrator of U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is authorized the following officers to levy the fine U/s Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019 (Central Act 32 of 2019) dated 09.08.2019 as below:
1. All officers of and above the rank of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector of the Transport Department.
2. Officers of and above the rank of Head Constable of Traffic Cell of Police Department and officers of and above the rank of Police Sub Inspector of Police Department.
The amounts of fines in Indian Rupees to be collected as per category of Vehicle are mentioned in the attached Notification.
