Minutes of the Meeting held on 29th August 2017 with Honl. DIGP/Director, Fire & Emergency Services
Dear all,
A delegation of Federation, welcomed new Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sh. B K Singh, I.P.S., at the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. While welcoming him, President of Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa and onbehalf of industrial sector, Shri Chandrakant M Parekh wished best and successful tenure to Shri B.K. Singh, I.P.S, in Dadra Nagar Haveli, assured him full cooperation of industries and hoped that under his leadership, industries will get their pending issues resolved.
The President, Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa raised the issues related to traffic jams in industrial area. In this regards, Hon'ble DIGP suggested that, the industries should spare volunteers to control the traffic during peak hours in industrial estates. He further said that, such volunteers will be authorized by the department to control the smooth flow of vehicles in such traffic prone areas.
So, colleague industries are hereby requested to spare the dedicated employees who can voluntarily work as Traffic Waden to handle the traffic. It is also informed by Hon'ble DIGP that, incase any driver of vehicle does not obey the Traffic Rules, the Traffic Wadens may take photographs of such vehicles who are broking the traffic and the said photographs should be sent to Police Department for action as per Traffic Rules.
During the meeting it was also requested to streamline the procedure for granting of Fire NOC to small industries who are having small plots. It was also brought to the notice of Hon'ble DIGP that, in small plot area it is very difficult to provide huge underground tanks and various fire control devices.
On request of Federation of Industries Association, a meeting was held with Hon’ble Deputy General of Police/Director Fire & Emergency Services, Dadra Nagar Haveli with the representatives/members of all the industries associations on 29/08/2017 at 11.00 AM in the Conference Hall of Police Head Quarters, Silvassa to discuss the various issues related to Fire NOC.
