Launch of Make in India Campaign on 25th September 2014 by Hon.Prime Minister

The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi will launch the "Make in India" campaign on 25th September 2014 at 10.00 AM in Vigyan Bhavan. It is envisaged as the flagship drive of the Government to make India a major manufacturing hub.
This campaign can be successful only through the involvement of States in the federal structure of the country. It is proposed to engage all the States through a hub-and-stroke programme to take the "Make in India" mission to a larger audience through respective industries.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has requested CII and FICCI, the apex associations of industry bodies at the national level to assume a larger role in implementation of this programme in States. Accordingly for UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli CII is going to organize the function at Daman on 25th September 2014 from 9.30 A.M. to 1.15 P.M. at Hotel Mirasole, Daman. The suggested programme has been worked out by CII is at Annexed-II in the attachment. During the said programme Live Telecast of launching of "Make in India" campaign by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India will be viewed by the gathering.
In the said programme members of Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association (SIMA), Silvassa Industries Association (SIA), Dadra & Nagar Haveli Industries Association (DNHIA) and Daman Industries Association (DIA) are requested to actively participate and witness the launch of "Make in India" campaign. The programme will be followed by launch.
So, all the industrial colleague are hereby requested to participate in programme of "Make in India" coinciding with the National launch of the campaign, New Delhi.
