Intimation Regarding Air Raid and Blackout Mock Exercise
Dear all,
This is to inform you that, as per Press Release No. ADM/DM/ME-NDMA/314/2018/174 dated 23/04/2026 issued by the Dadra Nagar Haveli Disaster Management Authority, the District Administration will conduct an Air Raid / Blackout Mock Exercise on 24th April 2026 from 07:30 PM onwards to enhance emergency preparedness.
Details of the Exercise:
1. A siren will be blown once for 2 minutes to mark the start of the mock drill.
2. Citizens are requested not to panic as this is only a planned exercise.
3. A long siren will be blown once at the end to indicate the conclusion.
4. The public is requested to remain calm and extend full cooperation to the authorities.

District Secretariat, Silvassa 07:30 PM 3 min
Silvassa Municipal Council Office 07:30 PM 3 min
District Panchayat Office, Silvassa 07:30 PM 3 min
NAMO Medical Hostel 07:30 PM 3 min
All residential complexes on Samarvarni internal road (Pramukh Aangan to Pramukh Nakshatra) 09:00 PM 5 min
The objective of this drill is to assess preparedness and improve coordination among response agencies.
You are requested to kindly inform your staff, security personnel, and residents in your industrial premises/colony to avoid any confusion during the exercise. Your cooperation is solicited.
