Implementation of Uniform Consent Guidelines and Amendments thereof - Reg.

Your Association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular issued by the Pollution Control Committee, U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Circular no. PCC/DDD/ORDER-EODB/2025-26/73, dated: 30/03/2026.
We are delighted to note that the Uniform Consent Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, have been made applicable in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
We take pride in stating that this achievement is a testament to the relentless efforts and advocacy of SIMA ASSOCIATION in promoting ease of doing business and environmental compliance in the region.
The deemed Consent to Establish for Micro and Small units located in Industrial Estates or Industrial Areas, upon submission of a self-certified application in Form I, is a significant step towards simplifying regulatory processes.
We are pleased to have contributed to this initiative and assure our continued support in implementing the guidelines and amendments thereof.
