Employees Enrolment Campaign, 2017 and Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana

Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Vapi has forwarded a letter to your association regarding Employees’ Enrollment Campaign, 2017 and Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana. The copy of the letter is enclosed herewith.
Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has launched an Employees’ Enrolment Campaign, 2017 during the period 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017, in order to extend social security benefits to all the eligible workers in the country. During the campaign, various financial incentives are offered to establishments to enroll their workers, besides facilitating service delivery by Aadhar seeding. Under this campaign, the first interaction was held on 1st February 2017 with industries colleagues at Vapi where the silent features of the campaign was briefed to the industries colleague.
Similarly, the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana(PMRPY) Plan Scheme has been designed to incentivise employers for generation of new employment, where Government of India will be paying the 8.33% EPS contribution of the employer for the new employment. This scheme has a dual benefit,
where, on the one hand, the employer is incentivised for increasing the employment base of workers in the establishment, and on the other hand, a large number of workers will find jobs in such establishments.
