Declaration of Public Holiday on Birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar
Dear all,
This is to inform you that as per Office Memorandum No. 11/01/96-06/GA/Holiday/III/2026-27/462 dated 13/04/2026 issued by the Office of the Collector, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, 14th April 2026 (Tuesday) has been declared as a Public Holiday on account of the Birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
This holiday is applicable to all Government Offices, Semi-Government Offices, Local Bodies, Commercial Banks, Industrial Establishments, and Public Sector Undertakings in the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
The holiday is notified under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
All members are requested to take note and observe the holiday accordingly.
