Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No. PCC/DDD/PW(Part-IV)/2019-20/30, dated 10/03/2022, issued by the Pollution Control Committee, DNH & DD, Daman.
Vide the circular, the Pollution Control Committee, DNH & DD, has directed all the plastic products manufacturing industries in the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu to comply with the following points with immediate effect:
1. As per G.S.R 320(E), the Plastic Waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011 was published vide Notification No. S.O 249 (E), dated 04/02/2011 to provide a regulatory framework for the management of plastic waste generated in the country by the Government of India, the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests.
