Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of a Circular vide No. LEO/COVID-19/Mask/2020/627 dated 29/04/2020 issued by Dr. Apurva Sharma, Deputy Labour Commissioner, Labour Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Silvassa. The scanned copy of the circular is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
As per the Circular, all the colleague industries and other establishments who are permitted to operate are hereby directed to ensure the followings;
1. Adequate Face mask, hand wash facility & sanitizers are provided to the workers.
2. The face mask are not re-used.
3. Used mask shall not be disposed of in open spaces, open dust bins as it can pose a potential health hazard to people who come in contact with such masks.
4. Closed waste disposal bins shall be kept at every entry and exit gate of the industries for disposal of the used mask.
5. Use of Sodium Hypochlorite solution for disposal of such used mask.
SIMA also appeals all the colleague industries to strictly adhere to the above directions and ensure yourself and your workers/employee good health, safety and hygiene.
