Circular dated 27.08.2018 issued by Labour Department, DNH regarding issue of ID cards.
Dear All,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No.LEO/ID-card/1172/2018 dated 27.08.2018 issued by Labour Enforcement Officer, Labour Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The scanned copy of the circular is enclosed herewith for your reference.
Vide the circular the labour department has raised concern regarding the issue of identity card to the worker's/employee's.As per the previous Order No.ADM/LAW/84/2008/1774 dated on 01.08.2018 the District Magistrate has ordered to all the Contractors/Industrial Owners that they should keep details of identity proof and also issue identity cards to their employees.
However, the labour department has noticed in various instances that identity cards have not been issued to the workers/employees overlooking the instructions. In this regard, the labour department has requested to the industries to provide details of the identity card issued by them as per enclosed Annexure-I & II within fifteen days. The Annexure is included in the scanned copy.
All the colleague industries are hereby requested to provide details of the identity card issued by them.
