Your association SIMA is pleased to inform you that 27th June i.e. Today is celebrating as an MSMEs Day for over World.
Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day is an annual event observed on 27 June to raise public awareness of their contribution to sustainable development and poverty alleviation.
Every year June 27 is observed as Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day (MSMES Day). Small scale industries are the backbone of economies of developing countries. According to International Council for Small Business (ICSB), formal and informal Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) make up over 90% of all firms and account on average for 60-70% of total employment and 50% of GDP. On 6 April 2017, UN General Assembly decided to observe 27 June as MSME Day to raise public awareness of their contribution in sustainable development and poverty alleviation.
