To allow employees to cast their vote in Panchayat Election without deducting wages
Dear all,
We are enclosing herewith the circular no. LEO/P.E./2015/769, dated 24th October, 2015, issued by Hon'ble Labour Commissioner DNH. The copy of the said circular is attached herewith.
Considering the general election of Village Panchayat / District Panchayat in the Union Territory of DNH, which are scheduled to be held on 25.10.2015 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, the employer of Industrial / Shop / Commercial establishment are directed to allow their voter workers to exercise their franchise, either by way of coming late or to leave early or a short absence on that day for casting their vote, without deducting wages or any part thereof.
All the colleague industries are hereby requested to adhere the directions of Hon'ble Labour Commissioner.
