THE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT HELD ON 09.04.2016, TO RESOLVE CASES RELATED TO LABOUR DISPUTES
Dear Members,
The Labour Enforcement Officer, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa, has published the final report no. LEO/LOK Adalat/358/2016 in respect of the National Lok Adalat held in the office of the Labour Department, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa, on 09.04.2016 to resolve the cases related to labour disputes. The detailed statement of the report is mentioned here-in-under.
1. Total 65 cases were kept for Lok Adalat, out of which 35 cases were heard where in both the parties remained present. Out of these 35 cases, 27 no. of cases were settled, 2 no. of cases were not settled, 2 no.of cases were dismissed and total 4 no. of cases were adjourned.
2. Percentage of settled cases out of heard cases was 77.14 %.
3. The total amount of Rs. 20, 68, 047 /- is awarded in the settlement.
4. 30 no. of cases couldn't settle as both parties remained absent.
