Vide the order, The General Elections to the Legislative Assembly -2022 for Gujarat State are being held on 01/12/2022(Thursday) In this regard, your attention is invited to section 135B of the Representation of People Act. 1951 which provides for the grant of paid holidays to the employees on the day of poll.
