Service Tax In Restaurants
Dear all,
Ms Tuhina Sharma, has brought to the notice of our President that, common people are being cheated by some of the Hotels and Restaurants by charging 14% Service Tax on their food bill. As per the provision in case of food the Hotels and Restaurants has to charge only 5.6% as a Service Tax.
So next time when you visit any Restaurants and Hotels please check the bill and ensure that, proper Service Tax of 5.6% is levied.
