This is to inform you that the Administration of Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has issued a notification amending the Right to Citizens to Public Services Rules.

The Amendment Rules, 2026 have been notified to streamline service delivery, revise timelines, and add/modify services covered under the RTSC Act for better ease of doing business in the UT.

Key Highlights:

1.  Amended Service Timelines - Timelines for various public services have been revised for faster disposal.

2.  New/Modified Services - Additional services have been included under the RTSC Act.

3.  Accountability Framework - Designated officers and appellate authorities have been defined for grievance redressal in case of delay/denial.

4.  Applicability - Applicable to all citizens and business entities availing notified public services in DNH & DD.

All members are requested to go through the amended rules and make note of the revised timelines while applying for any government service.
