Recovery of FPPCA charges for passed period of 2012 to 2015 has been stayed by Honl. JERC
Dear all,
We are enclosing herewith the scanned copy of the order passed by Hon'ble JERC in the matter of SIA v/s DNHPDCL in case No. 189/2015, dtd:23/12/2015.
The Respondent DNHPDCL has stated that they are in receipt of bill for the past period from the power supplier NTPC in the regular bill of October 2015 and accordingly the Respondent has started recovering the said FPPCA 0.02 paisa, but in view of the petition filled by the Petitioner the Respondent has revised the FPPCA charges strictly in accordance with the regulation in this regard.Further the Respondent prayed to the commission to allow a period of two weeks for filling a written submission in this regard.
The Hon'ble JERC granted time to the respondent to submit their reply and also time to petitioner to file the rejoinder at the earliest, but not later then four weeks. The respondent DNHPDCL has submitted that they will not recover additional FPPCA on the consumption for the period from April 2012 to March 2015 in accordance with the interim order dated 15/12/2015 till the final disposal of the Petition.
As DNHPDCL has given this undertaking to Hon'ble JERC in no circumstances. The said amount can be recovered by DNHPDCL from the consumer in any form. So all the member are hereby requested not to pay the additional FPPCA till final order of Hon'ble JERC.
