The Press Release issued on GST Rates on certain goods and services in 39th GST Council meeting held on 14th March 2020.
The GST Council took an array of decision, including an increase in the Tax Rates on Mobile Phones on specified parts to 18% from 12%. GST on handmade, machine-made matchstick has been rationalised to 12% while GST on MRO (maintenance repair overhaul ) services of aircraft has been slashed to 5% to 18%.
