Press Release for tax payers regarding change in email address or mobile number in the GST System.
Dear All,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Press Release issued by Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India Change of email and mobile number of the authorized signatory by taxpayers with assistance from the jurisdictional tax officer.
It is observed in the GST regime that the taxpayers find difficulty in getting the user credentials from the intermediaries. So that, the government has introduced a new system to allow taxpayers to update email and mobile number in the GST System.
The email and mobile number can be updated by the concerned Jurisdictional tax authority of the taxpayer as per the procedure is given in the attached Press Release.
